Team & Leadership Coaching
The Director of Global Sales of an American training and consulting company that specializes in the injection molding industry contacted us in the need of help with their office in Mexico.
A small multidisciplinary team was reported to be dysfunctional, with broken communication channels and a lack of collaboration. The Director of Global Sales knew that they had a lot of potential. However, they were not reaching the expected results. The leader also shared his intentions with us to assign a new local manager for the team, who would have to develop leadership skills.
Together with the client we co-designed the solution, which turned out to be a blended delivery of team coaching, team workshops, leadership coaching and consulting services for a period of 9-12 months with the following goals:
Develop the team into a locally empowered, functional and high-performing team through:
a. Trust building and team cohesion
b. Clarity about the shared purpose and objective as team
c. Definition of team values and behaviors
d. Clear roles and responsibilities
e. Effective communication and a culture of constructive feedback
f. Team results through collaboration, accountability and shared commitment
g. Collaboration and co-responsibility
Additionally, we supported them in the selection process to appoint the new General Manager, and walked alongside them during this transition via Leadership Coaching in order to develop the expected skills of the new leader.
Hareen is an incredibly talented, natural coach. In the short time Hareen worked with the team she was able to help us engage a disengaged team by assisting in opening lines of communication, breaking down silos between the entity and HQ, and having them all working together towards common global strategic goals. Hareen has not only impacted the team, but has become a Mentor for our leaders within the global entity.
